Epilogue

The mass graves of shame are the enclaves of oblivion, disgrace, and dishonour. The perpetration of violent infamy. Unearthing and uncovering them after decades of silence, enables them to be closed again, dignifying the space, providing the victims with the respect they deserve, and partly healing the wounds of their families. Not just their pain, but also the pain of a democratic society that cannot simply walk over a hidden history.
